FEBRUARY IS OFF TO A GREAT START! A NEW MONTH BRINGS FRESH NEW EVENTS AT THE POST! TAKE A LOOK!

DJ Scotty Sharpe returns to the canteen this Friday February 7th to host MUSIC BINGO beginning at 6 pm! This time, we are doing things a bit different! Instead of one bingo winner each round, there will be 2! We have some new prizes in store on the prize wheel as well…so make sure you don’t miss out! Tables fill up quickly, so be sure you get there early to grab your spot and enjoy some tasty food while you wait! Following Music Bingo, we will wrap the night up with some dance music and Karaoke! The Friday night fun at the Post never lets you down!

ARE YOU WELL VERSED ON CUPID’S HOLIDAY? WE HAVE A FUN GAME FOR ALL THE LOVERS OUT THERE!

Cupid comes to town a little early, on Wednesday February 12th, when DJ Bill Wright stops by the canteen to host some Valentine’s Day Trivia beginning at 6:30 pm! Rom com movies, best love songs, all the chocolate facts you can think of….let’s hear those answers! 4 rounds of trivia, 10 questions each round, will you be a winner? Come find out!

Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday this year, and we have the best way you can kickoff your romantic weekend with that special someone! On Friday February 14th and Saturday February 15th, we will be offering a special Valentine’s Day Dinner! Here’s what’s on the menu:

• Ribeye Steak served with a baked potato, asparagus and a dinner roll $16.95

Meat Tray Bingo is in the canteen on Sunday February 23rd! Doors open at 12 pm and Bingo starts at 1 pm! There are some great meat packages available! This bingo is opened to our members and their guests!

WE ARE TRYING SOMETHING NEW THIS MONTH! AND IF YOU ALL LIKE IT, WE WILL CONTINUE WITH IT! SO HERE ARE SOME DETAILS!

We asked, you guys gave us suggestions, and now here we are bringing some of those to fruition! We will have CORNHOLE at the Post in the Banquet Hall on Thursday February 27th! Sign-up information as well as start times, etc will all be posted within the next week or so! But for now, mark those calendars and come out for some Thursday night fun!

We welcome those who are avid cornhole players and are well versed in the area to come help us and new players get started! THIS IS NOT A TOURNAMENT YET! **We are in need of 20 volunteers to help with our annual Fundraiser Bingo on February 16, 2025.

Doors open at 1130 and bingo will run until about 4. Volunteers are needed to help with various task throughout the day to include selling raffle tickets, baked goods, bingo daubers, extra games, blackout games, 50/50, set up, clean up, etc.

If you can’t stay all day, that’s ok!!!

Just sign up for a shift in the Google Doc ON FACEBOOK or come into the Canteen and sign up there.

All proceeds will go to helping veteran and community programs supported by our post.

This will be our biggest fundraiser of the year and we need all hands on deck!!!**

Join us for our Christmas Eve party in the canteen on Tuesday December 24th from 4-6 pm! This is only opened to our members and their guests! Reminder, the kitchen will be closed! Take some time out of the busy holiday season and come have some fun with us!

AND NOW FOR WHAT EVERYONE IS WAITING FOR….OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS CHRISTMAS PARTY!

We love nothing more than our officers, staff, and all of YOU! We love that we all have become one big family, and we really pride ourselves on being able to host amazing events for all of you, who mean a lot to us! So, this year, our annual Family and Friends Christmas Party with Santa will be held on Friday December 27th from 6-9 pm! We will have holiday games, holiday music, a holiday movie, food, raffles with prizes and the best part….SANTA HIMSELF! He will arrive at 7 pm to visit with the kids, take pictures and give each child their gift! So, here’s the important stuff to remember! This will be held in our banquet hall, but it is only opened to our members and their guests! Each child will receive a gift! Now, if you are interested in coming to this event and would like to sign up your child/children, you must do the following. Write down the name, age and 3 items/things of interest/toys for the child/children you are signing up. This information MUST BE GIVEN TO THE BARTENDER IN THE CANTEEN! There will be a sign-up sheet that you will put your child’s name on…but this extra information must be handed in! Now…just like last year, our members will then pick a child to get a gift for! ($25.00 spending limit!) MEMBERS—We appreciated your participation last year and we would love to see the same turnout for this year! If you are interested in buying a gift for a child, please let the bartender know! ALL CHILDREN MUST BE SIGNED UP NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 23RD! ALL GIFTS MUST BE AT THE POST, WRAPPED w/ NAME TAG AND FROM SANTA, BY DECEMBER 26TH! ALL CHILDREN WILL RECEIVE A GIFT SO DO NOT WORRY!

We also started doing a prize table for the kids! When they play the games, they receive raffle tickets. For the last hour of the event, the raffle tickets are called out and the kids get to come up and pick out of a selection of some really great prizes! ALL CHILDREN WILL RECEIVE AT LEAST 1 PRIZE FROM THE TABLE!

If anyone is interested in donating prizes for the prize table, we will gladly accept! We have some already collected, but definitely need more! The kids absolutely love this portion of the evening! 

If anyone is interested in bringing a dish to share at the party, we would absolutely love that! The more the merrier! Sign-ups will be in the canteen! 

HAVE NO FEAR ADULTS, WE AREN’T FORGETTING ABOUT YOU!

We will also host a Secret Santa Adult Gift Exchange the evening of our Family and Friends Christmas Party. If you would like to be included, please sign up in the canteen no later than December 23rd! As we get sign ups, we will start letting people pick names! There will be a $25.00 spending limit!
