Almost to the weekend…and we have the best way to kick it off! Join us this Thursday September 18th for TRIVIA NIGHT beginning at 6:00 pm. There’s a new host in town and she goes be Emcee Kayla and she’s bringing along her right hand Hannah and they are more than ready to deliver an unforgettable entertaining evening! Order up some tacos, grab a nice cold beer and get ready for 4 rounds of trivia! Opened to members and their guests, and trust me, you don’t want to miss this! 

KICKOFF YOUR WEEKEND WITH A NICE FULL STOMACH–STEAK NIGHT IS BACK AT THE POST!

This Friday September 19th, we will have Steak Night in the canteen beginning at 4:00 pm. Dinner will include a 12 oz Ribeye, salad, baked potato, vegetable and a dessert! Your favorite celebrity chef, George Robb, will be in the kitchen this evening! Don’t miss out and get there early!

DID SOMEONE YELL BINGO?! WHAT A WAY TO WRAP UP THE WEEKEND! 

We invite you out this upcoming Sunday September 21 to play Meat Tray Bingo in the canteen! Doors open at 12 pm and Bingo starts at 1 pm! This bingo is opened to our members and their guests! We have some great meat packages up for grabs, which are perfect for the upcoming holidays! Come try your luck!

TRUNK OR TREAT IS COMING UP! MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INFORMATION! WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDY DONATIONS, VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH GAMES AND FOOD, VOLUNTEERS TO BRING FOOD, AND OF COURSE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO DECORATE THEIR TRUNKS AND HAND OUT CANDY! DON’T MISS OUR BIGGEST COMMUNITY EVENT OF THE SEASON–THURSDAY OCTOBER 23RD 6-8 PM!

Our annual Trunk or Treat is back for its 3rd year, and we are ecstatic to bring the community another amazing event! We invite families and children of all ages to come on out to TRUNK OR TREAT at our Post! There will be LOTS of candy, decorated trunks, police and fire department vehicles, face painting, a hayride, games, food and did we mention CANDY CANDY CANDY!!! Costumes are highly encouraged but not mandatory! We are so excited to see the community come out and have fun with us! Here’s some things to know:

-If you are interested in decorating your trunk and handing out candy, there will be a sign up genius link posted on our Facebook and at the bottom of this event description! Click on the link and sign up! Very easy! *There will be an award for the best decorated trunk (as voted on by the community) so we cannot wait to see the creativity you all bring!*

-If you simply want to come and trunk or treat and enjoy the activities, there is no need to sign up for that—-just come on out!

-There will be sign up sheets located in our Post in our canteen for the following: volunteers to help with parking, volunteers to help run some games inside the banquet hall, volunteers to help watch over food and replenish when necessary, and volunteers to bring some food in to share with everyone!

-We are currently accepting candy donations. If you have participated in prior years, our amazing members donate candy to our Post so that we are able to replenish the trunks when and if they run out of candy (our stockpile every year is so great and definitely gets utilized, I have always had to use it all to replenish our trunks—we want to ensure everyone has plenty of candy!) So, if you are able to donate candy, we would gladly appreciate it! Just drop it off at the canteen or contact McKayla Herman at 717-693-3357 to arrange pickup! *PLEASE PLEASE DONATE CANDY!!*

Come on out and support our Post and Veterans this upcoming Saturday September 6th for our CHICKEN BBQ! Mmmm yummy juicy chicken….you know you don’t want to miss out! We start serving them up at 11 am until they run out, and this event is rain or shine! Chicken halves are $10.00 and the dinners are $15.00 (Dinner includes chicken, baked potato, applesauce, a dinner roll and a bottle of water).

JUMPING AHEAD TO NEXT WEEKEND, YOUR FAVORITE BAR GAME IS BACK! GET READY TO PLAY AND SING ALONG!

Music Bingo returns to the canteen on Friday September 12th from 6-8 pm hosted by DJ Scotty Sharpe! Everyone LOVES Music Bingo, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, we highly suggest you come join us for the fun! It’s so easy to play, and even more fun to sing along with the songs! Members and guests welcomed ($3.00 for non-members to play)!

If you don’t know, now ya know…there is a new Trivia host! Trivia makes its way back into the canteen on Thursday September 18th from 6- 8 pm with your new host…. DJ Emcee (MC) Kayla and her co-host Hannah! 4 rounds, 10 questions each round and some great prizes…along with guaranteed entertainment! You won’t want to miss this one, folks! Plus it’s taco night….tacos and trivia….let’s go!!
