IT’S CARNIVAL WEEK! BRING THE FAMILY OUT FOR A NIGHT OF UNFORGETTABLE FUN!

The Millersville VFW will host its first ever carnival/fireworks summer extravaganza! There will be rides for adults, children and families! Games will be there, along with delicious food! So bring your appetite! I smell funnel cake in the air! Carnival nights will be Wed July 10-Sat July 13! To kick off our carnival, we will have a DJ on Wednesday from 6-9 pm! Come start the party! We will have live music and a spectacular fireworks show on Friday July 12! Fireworks will be at 9 pm and live music will be from 7-10 pm! Saturday night will be our raffle night, so make sure you check those out! The baskets will be located in our banquet hall! Tickets are 5 for $5 and there are some awesome fun packed baskets! You do not have to be present during the drawing to win! Bring the family for some family fun and unforgettable memories! We thank you so much for your support! AS MOST OF YOU HAVE PROBABLY SEEN OR HEARD, OUR POST WILL BE HOSTING ITS FIRST EVER CARNIVAL/FIREWORKS THIS SUMMER! HERE’S THE RUN DOWN!

Our Summer Carnival will run from Wednesday July 10th-Saturday July 13th. Hours of operation will be 6-10 pm daily! It is opened to the public! Bring the family out for some family fun! Tickets and wristbands will be available for purchase, more info to come on that! On Friday July 12th, we will also have live music from Matt Hutchinson from 7-10 pm. He will be outside performing for you all! Out Firework Extravaganza show will also take place on Friday evening, beginning at 9 pm! You don’t want to miss this patriotic display! On the very last night of the carnival, Saturday July 13th, we will also be pulling the winners of the raffle baskets! So make sure you get tickets and submit yours to the baskets you want to win! 

  • We need regular, auxiliary, and social members who are willing to help out with the carnival! Join us at one of our planning meetings on Thursday, June 27, Monday, July 1, or Monday, July 8 at 6pm. Volunteers will receive a free VFW t-shirt. Sign up in canteen.
  • The VFW Auxiliary Post 7294 will be hosting a silent auction on July 13th, as a part of our first ever carnival! If you are interested in sponsoring a basket, please message Auxiliary President, Kim Sherr or email auxiliaryvfw7294@gmail.com. Want to donate but don’t know what? Contact us anyway, we have plenty of ideas!

Come out tonight, Wednesday June 19th, to play some TRIVIA! DJ Bill Wright is back in the canteen as your host from 6:30-8:30 pm! 4 rounds of trivia, 10 questions each round! Will he stump you? Grab your friends and come play as team, the more minds the better! Cool down with a nice cold draft beer, put your wing order in, and get ready for an evening of brainiac fun! 

Lanco Smokes will be back in the canteen on Thursday June 20th from 6-8:30 pm. Take a load off and a break from this heat and come check out their incredible cigar selection! They make a great late Father’s Day gift if you’re still celebrating Dad! Our back patio is set up for you to enjoy, so grab a nice cold draft beer, kick your feet up, and let us know what you think!

LET THE GOOD TIMES BOIL! Our VFW will host its seafood boil on Saturday June 29th beginning at 3 pm down at our pavilion. Here’s what you need to know!

  • Ticket sales end Saturday night, June 22nd
  • Included with your ticket are the following: 6 crabs, 1/2 lb shrimp,12 clams, 5 oz sausage, red potatoes and corn, unlimited draft beer, 2 chances at winning a gun for the gun raffle
  • Tickets are $100.00. You may share a ticket with someone and split the food. The ticket holder and guest are entitled to the draft beers

LOOKING JUST A LITTLE BIT AHEAD INTO JULY…WE HAVE SOMETHING GRAND IN STORE!

The Millersville VFW will be hosting it’s first ever Summer Fest Carnival and Fireworks! The Carnival will run from July 10th to July 13th! Fireworks will go off on Friday July 12th and we will have raffles/silent auction on Saturday July 13th. Tentative times are 6-10 pm. More details to follow!
