DJ Bill Wright haunts the room as he is the host with the most! He leaves you guessing and asking for more! 4 rounds of all things Halloween. 10 questions each round. 1 winner each time. Boo! Will it be you?!

Are you such a good singer that it’s….scary? Do you let out blood curling screams and hit the high notes? Then we would love to see you on Friday October 20th from 8-11 pm for SCARYOKE hosted by DJ Peggy and her team of DJs! All you need is a voice and a microphone, we take care of the rest! Come enjoy this howling night of a good time! 

TRICK OR TREAT, SMELL MY FEET! BUT IN THIS CASE…TRUNK OR TREAT AND COME OUT FOR AN EVENING OF COMMUNITY FUN!

Calling all kids that love candy! We are ready for YOU! Get a costume on and come out for a night of HALLOWEEN FUN! The Post will host its first ever TRUNK OR TREAT on THURSDAY OCTOBER 26th from 6-8 pm! The trunks will be set up in the large banquet hall parking lot! We encourage you to bring out the kids and “trick or treat” amongst the cars. There will also be several Police Departments, Fire Departments and Towing Service vehicles on site with personnel handing out candy to the kids. There will also be a “spooky bus” out in the parking lot as well. Kids of all ages will be welcomed aboard to enjoy the Halloween themed bus as well! Don’t forget to stop and vote for your favorite trunk, the winner will receive a prize!  After all the treats have been collected, we will encourage those to move inside the banquet hall to enjoy some food, refreshments, games and face painting! We are currently accepting donations of candy if anyone is interested in helping with that! We want to ensure the kids walk away with plenty of candy! We also will need volunteers the night of to help out in any way they can! We want to ensure the night runs smoothly for the community! If you are interested in decorating your trunk and handing out candy, please sign up online or reach out to McKayla Herman at 717-693-3357. Even if you aren’t interested in doing up your trunk, you are still welcomed to just simply participate and hand out candy as yourself or whatever you’d like to dress up as! This event is opened to the public! There are flyers dispersed around the community and an ad will run in the Penn Manor Merchandiser the week of October 18th! There’s also an event reminder on Facebook as well! We are all so excited to host this event and look forward to seeing all of you out there having a great time!

THE ANNUAL WITCHES BALL WILL TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 28TH. DOORS OPEN AT 7:30 PM AND THE BALL IS FROM 8 PM- MIDNIGHT! YOU MAY GET YOUR TICKETS PRIOR FOR $20 OR AT THE DOOR FOR $25! YOUR TICKET INCLUDES FOOD, BEER, SODA AND DOOR PRIZES. THERE WILL ALSO BE COSTUME PRIZES BUT COSTUMES ARE OPTIONAL! MUST BE 21 OR OLDER TO ATTEND!

Bring the kids out to “trunk or treat” throughout the big parking lot. We ask that parents and guardians stay with their children! We will have SEVERAL trunks decorated in different themes that will be handing out candy/small goodies. We will also have SEVERAL Police Departments and Fire Departments with vehicles on site as well, handing out candy, talking to the kids, showing the ins and outs of their emergency vehicles. We also have a few Towing Businesses bringing tow trucks on site to decorate and hand out candy as well. There will also be a HAUNTED BUS that the children can walk through if they’d like! THIS IS GOING TO BE A BIG ONE! The support and participation have been AMAZING! There will also be a prize for the best trunk! So make sure you stop and vote after you visited each one! Once the kids are done outside visiting all of the cars, we encourage you to come inside our banquet hall to enjoy some food, drink, games and face painting! We will have 3 face painters on site, which hopefully will keep the lines moving! There is also going to be SO MUCH CANDY! So again, we encourage everyone to come out and bring the kids! Dress up in costume and get in the spirit! We want to see all of your great ideas! Keep an eye out for advertisements in the Penn Manor Merchandiser, as well as surrounding businesses. Manor Township Police Department (one of our participants) has made up a flyer that has been going around on Facebook! We tried our best to ensure that our event doesn’t conflict with other trunk or treats going on in the area! Our Trunk or Treat will include decorated trunks giving out treats, police and fire vehicles, games inside our banquet hall, hot dogs, drinks, and face painting! If you are interested in signing up to decorate your trunk and hand out candy or a small goodie, please contact McKayla Herman at 717-693-3357. Please give your name, theme of your trunk and if you are planning on handing out candy or a small goodie (ex: pencils, erasers, stickers, etc). There is also a sign-up genius link that you can go ahead and sign up on! We are very excited to host this event for the children! We encourage you all to bring out the kids for this great event! The more the merrier! We also are looking for volunteers that evening to help with games inside the banquet hall, parking, handing out hot dogs and also help to guide the children along outside as they move through the cars! If you are interested in volunteering, there will be a sign-up sheet in the banquet hall for that! We thank you so much for your participation. Our hope is to make this event huge and grow it more and more each year! We love to do things for the kids!
