Grab your dabber and grab a buddy and come play Meat Tray Bingo on Sunday October 8th in the canteen! Doors will open at 12 pm and Bingo starts around 1 pm! This event is only opened to Post members and their guests! Come play and win some great meat packages! You can’t beat it!

The Post will host Halloween Trivia on Wednesday October 18th from 6:30-8:30 pm in the canteen. DJ Bill Wright will try his best to bring you a fright! Spew out all your knowledge of this candylicious holiday! 4 rounds with 10 questions each, wing night, cold drinks, and great company….what a SPECTACULAR SPOOKY combo!

LET’S DO THE MONSTER MASH AND GET READY TO SCREEEAAAMMM FOR KARAOKE!

Join us Friday October 20th from 8-11 pm for SCARYOKE in the canteen! That’s Karaoke, with a little spooky twist! Whether you break it down with the Thriller dance, or belt out a ballad, we are ready to be frightened by how GREAT you all sound! It sure will be a howling good time! Don’t miss out!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW FOR THIS FANG-TASTIC NIGHT! WE BRING YOU THE TREATS FOR YOUR DELIGHT!

We put a spell on you…and now you are OURS FOR THE NIGHT! Do not miss the Post’s first ever TRUNK OR TREAT on Thursday October 26th from 6-8 pm over on the banquet hall side of the Post! Bring the kids out to “trunk or treat” throughout the big parking lot. We ask that parents and guardians stay with their children! We will have SEVERAL trunks decorated in different themes that will be handing out candy/small goodies. We will also have SEVERAL Police Departments and Fire Departments with vehicles on site as well, handing out candy, talking to the kids, showing the ins and outs of their emergency vehicles. We also have a few Towing Businesses bringing tow trucks on site to decorate and hand out candy as well. There will also be a HAUNTED BUS that the children can walk through if they’d like! THIS IS GOING TO BE A BIG ONE! The support and participation have been AMAZING! There will also be a prize for the best trunk! So make sure you stop and vote after you visited each one! Once the kids are done outside visiting all of the cars, we encourage you to come inside our banquet hall to enjoy some food, drink, games and face painting! We will have 3 face painters on site, which hopefully will keep the lines moving! There is also going to be SO MUCH CANDY! So again, we encourage everyone to come out and bring the kids! Dress up in costume and get in the spirit! We want to see all of your great ideas! Keep an eye out for advertisements in the Penn Manor Merchandiser, as well as surrounding businesses. Manor Township Police Department (one of our participants) has made up a flyer that has been going around on Facebook! There is also an event link on our Facebook. There is a sign-up on Sign-Up Genius that is also on Facebook and the VFW website if you are interested in decorating your trunk. If you are interested in participating in this Trunk or Treat in any way, please sign up online or reach out to McKayla Herman at 717-693-3357. We are SO EXCITED to bring this event to our community!

  • The Aux meeting will take place on Tuesday October 24th at 6:30 pm.
  • The Post meeting will take place on Wednesday October 25th at 6:30 pm.
  • The Post has all of your PA Lottery needs. Come play some skill machines, watch car races, watch horse races or play the Powerball. Come try your luck!
  • I 105 WIOV radio station advertises for the Post! So be sure to tune into the station to hear upcoming announcements as well and check out their community calendar for events happening at the Post.
