But since it’s the month of all things eerie…we are calling this one SCARYOKE! Come have some fun! Get the audience blood curling screaming! Let loose, unwind from the week! The song possibilities are endless. All we need is you and your voice! Let’s put on an unforgettable show!

ATTENTION! MAKE SURE YOU MARK THIS ON THE CALENDAR NOW! THE POST’S FIRST EVER TRUNK OR TREAT IS HAPPENING!

We put a spell on you…and now you are OURS FOR THE NIGHT! Do not miss the Post’s first ever TRUNK OR TREAT on Thursday October 26th from 6-8 pm over on the banquet hall side of the Post! Bring the kids out to “trunk or treat” throughout the parking lot. We ask that parents and guardians stay with their children! We will have SEVERAL trunks decorated in different themes that will be handing out candy/small goodies. We will also have SEVERAL Police Departments and Fire Departments with vehicles on site as well, handing out candy, talking to the kids, showing the ins and outs of their emergency vehicles. We also have a few Towing Businesses bringing tow trucks on site to decorate and hand out candy as well. THIS IS GOING TO BE A BIG ONE! The support and participation have been AMAZING! There will also be a prize for the best trunk! So make sure you stop and vote after you visited each one! Once the kids are done outside visiting all of the cars, we encourage you to come inside our banquet hall to enjoy some food, drink, games and face painting! We will have 3 face painters on site, which hopefully will keep the lines moving! There is also going to be SO MUCH CANDY! So again, we encourage everyone to come out and bring the kids! Dress up in costume and get in the spirit! We want to see all of your great ideas! Keep an eye out for advertisements in the Penn Manor Merchandiser, as well as surrounding businesses. Manor Township Police Department (one of our participants) has made up a flyer that has been going around on Facebook! There is also an event link on our Facebook. There is a sign-up on Sign-Up Genius that is also on Facebook and the VFW website if you are interested in decorating your trunk. Spend your Labor Day weekend partying with us…and the SCREAMIN’ DAISYS! Dance, sing, hang out with your favorite people, and drink a cold one while the band puts on an awesome show for everyone! SAVE THE DATE! This Saturday September 2nd from 8 pm- 12 am the band will be performing in the banquet hall! Everyone 21 and over is welcomed, so spread the word and tell a friend to tell a friend! There will be a $5 cover fee at the door and doors will open at 7 pm! A cash bar will be available throughout the evening and there is an ATM on site. We will have a 50/50 drawing as well. Food will be available for purchase. The band always delivers a phenomenal show, and you don’t want to be the one person who misses out!
